Merry Christmas from Prompt: Where's Santa?
Merry Christmas from Prompt: Where's Santa?
We recommend this site pretty much every year because it just gets better and better.
NORAD isn’t just responsible for the aerospace and maritime defence of the United States and Canada. It also convincingly proves the existence of Santa each year by tracking him with radar, satellites, fighter jets and Santa Cams as his reindeer-powered sleigh makes its Christmas Eve journey to deliver presents to every good child in the world.
Tune in as NORAD starts tracking Santa live with the 47 radar installations at the North Warning System, then picks up the infrared signature of Rudolph’s shiny nose. Canadian CF-18, US F-15 and F-16 jets then maintain the pursuit, relaying Santa Cam footage of the sleigh’s progress in real-time.
This year Google Earth will also be updated to show Santa’s location, while NORAD is also providing tracking night countdown updates every day of December.

Prompt Boston welcomes new team member
Prompt Boston welcomes new team member
It’s a sad day for me. I am no longer the ‘new guy’ at Prompt. That honor is now passed to Ross Coyle, the newest member of the Prompt team. But while Ross may be the new guy here at Prompt, he’s anything but new when it comes to experience.
His name may be familiar to many of those living in Atlanta, West Palm Beach and Providence, where he has worked as a reporter and anchor over the course of his 15 year broadcasting career. In 2004, Ross received deserved recognition when he won an Associated Press Award for Best Feature.
Ross also brings with him years of experience both in business to customer and business to business PR work. His wealth of news media knowledge, as well as the contacts he’s made within the industry are real assets to the team and have already helped expand the work we do for our clients.
Thankfully none of his successes have gone to his head – at least from what I can tell sitting next to him. He’s calm and dedicated and is fitting in well with the rest of us both here and abroad. I’m sure I speak for all at Prompt when I welcome Ross to the team.

Prompt completes Samsung bada developer video.
Prompt completes Samsung bada developer video.
New Samsung bada developer video launched today.
Having recently announced Samsung Electronics as a client, the latest video created by Prompt Communications for Samsung is now live on YouTube.
The video explains how to develop applications with single-point touch and multi-point touch user interaction. The video content mixes live footage recorded in our studio with motion graphics and stock footage from Samsung. To create sharp visuals, Prompt has reproduced the bada SDK as a vector facade enabling different camera angles and zooming in on sample code without any loss of visual quality.
Have a look for yourself and let us know what you think. And if you are inspired to develop your own applications for Samsung’s new operating system, you can download the bada SDK from the bada developers website.
If you would like to discuss how to use video to demonstrate your product, promote your business or capture what your customers are saying, please contact us to see how Prompt can help you create video for use in sales, training or PR.
